Description
The small ornament is a textured, handcrafted ceramic piece.
Out of interest, I have researched this ornament as best I can, and I do not know if it has a purpose or if it is in a style of a particular ceramic studio. All I know is that it is a weird looking thing and it is 3″ tall.
It features a bulbous base, a narrower, elongated neck, and a flared rim. The primary colours are earthy browns and greens. The brown sections appear to have a glossy, possibly crackled glaze, while the green sections, particularly at the base and rim, have a more matte or textured finish.
The central brown section of the body is highly textured with numerous small, irregularly shaped perforations or indentations. Around the lower part of the brown body, there are several spherical, lighter-colored protrusions with a rough, stone-like texture, adding another layer of visual interest. The base has vertical ridges with green accents.
