Description

These antique reclaimed wrought iron horse drawn potato cultivator/harrow has a unique industrial farming feel that will complement any antique or vintage style.

A harrow is a farm implement used for surface tillage, breaking up and smoothing out the soil after plowing to create a suitable seedbed for planting.

The specific type shown, with a rigid metal frame and solid, non-flexible teeth, is known as a spike tooth harrow, a peg tooth harrow, or a section harrow.

Harrows were originally designed to be pulled by draft animals like horses or oxen.

The harrows are aged superbly, they are for vintage decorative purposes, sometimes repurposed as garden art or indoor items like coat racks.
