Antique hand-carved sandstone plaque featuring the word “GIRLS”.
This stone has come Haigh Road Primary School built-in 1904. The stone block has a and has been freed up after some recent renovation work.
This Stone sat above the girl’s entrance to the school. It clearly has weathered quite heavily, but you can still make out the text “GIRLS”.
It would make a fantastic garden feature as well as potentially a masonry piece.
