Unusual piece of folk art, maybe a school project. It clearly has some age to it. It has 1950 etched in the base, this may be the age or could be a reference to the era.

The ornament depicts a figure, in a crouching, kneeling position, engaged in cleaning with a pot or vessel.
The figure is painted in muted tones, wearing a green top or dress and a light blue apron with colourful accents, possibly depicting flowers or patterns. The hair is dark and pulled back.
The figure appears to be working with a dark, cylindrical pot or vessel, with one hand inside it and the other supporting the outside. The inside of the pot shows a swirling pattern, suggesting an action like mixing or kneading.
