This stone has come Haigh Road Primary School built-in 1904. The stone block has a and has been freed up after some recent renovation work.
Anrchitectural element, from the Victorian-era Yorkstone stones part of a large pier cap structure, designed as an entrance to the school but could be used for garden walls or gateway pillars.
Used to protect brick or stone pillars/walls from rainwater penetration and frost damage.
Features a “twice-weathered” or “apex” style, with a ridge in the middle to allow water to run off both sides.
Constructed from natural Yorkstone, known for strength and durability against the elements.
